Step-by-step completion route
- Reserve a clean 2×2 area. Avoid filling the likely corners with permanent buildings while waiting for the remaining wings.
- Place by direction, not draw order. Northeast always belongs in the upper-right position; southwest belongs in the lower-left.
- Create the missing piece in place. The game string uses “created,” and a player report found that moving, blueprinting or transforming a piece did not repair that run.
- Finish all four before abandoning the layout. Completion grants a special Legendary Heirloom according to the public game string.
Why a moved piece may not count
In the Steam thread that surfaced this problem, a cursed tower transformed a hut into the needed southeast piece—but in the wrong location. Moving the piece later did not activate the Temple. A blueprint attempt and another transformation in the correct corner also failed. On the next run, creating the pieces in their proper positions completed it.
That is one player's reproducible report, not a developer statement. It also matches the important verb in the public string: the wings must be created in the correct positions. If your current build behaves differently, the live result should take priority.
